World Milk Day Mega Celebration 2023

It is a time for key actors in the dairy industry to converge and review to progress and challenges of the dairy sector and the implementation of the Nation Livestock Transformation Plan and present standpoints for the incoming government to adopt.

The First day will play host to over Twenty(20) selected public and private schools in the FCT which will involve children presentations, current affairs and quiz competitions, learning how to milk cows etc.

The Second day will host the captains of dairy industry across the country

The event will deliver a combination of four (4) sections as highlighted below:

•Brainstorm on sustainable practices that can enhance the dairy sector

•Review the progress and challenges of the sector

•Map out practicable ways the sector can reduce the impact of climate change

•Ways dairy can contribute to economic development and livelihoods
